My sister overhears a conversation about the holiday break...

My family has very, very interesting interactions during holiday, no more so than any involving my sister. Here's her latest.

The girl that sits behind me was on the phone and seriously just said “I’m going to do a little SCUBA diving in Catalina over break and definitely some sunset sailing”, “It should be lovely!”

 I promptly got on the phone, called my voice mail and proceeded to say….
“I’m going to drink a few bottles of vodka and fight my brothers for the T.V. over break”. “It should be a truly monumental time!”

 She must not be spending her Christmas with her family!

Random Act of Kindness

From my dad today:

Dear Family,

Just wanted to let you know about our Bry. Last week in Ephrata it snowed a lot. He managed  to not only shovel his walkway but did some of the neighbors as well. We received a message on our phone recorder from his neighbor Jim. It seems Jim had to go to the doctor's office during the snow storm. Jim's walkway was one that Bry had shoveled. The phone message was so great, as Jim indicated this was one of the nicest things anybody have ever done for him (he went on and on). He was happy at what Bry had done. He really wasn't sure it had been Bry, but he thought maybe it was.

Way to go Bryan, a Random Act of Kindness sure went a long way. (ps, he met another lady and had a good talk with her too)
